At the Kherson Local History Museum an exhibition has been created from fragments of shells with which the Russian army shells the city.
This was reported on the Kherson Regional Local History Museum’s Facebook page.
The fragments that will become future exhibition pieces are collected by soldiers, volunteers, service personnel and the museum staff themselves.

“The exhibits often literally “fly in” to the museum’s courtyards and buildings. The amount of shrapnel from shells with which the enemy shells the museum premises is measured in tens of kilograms. The most interesting and characteristic pieces of them replenish the museum’s collection. Museum staff used some of the fragments to create an installation — they laid out the city’s name from metal remnants that brought death and have now become a symbol of resilience”, – the post reads.
Recall that in October the Kherson Local History Museum building was heavily damaged. At that time, as a result of the strike, windows were blown out, a wall was breached and part of the facade was destroyed.
