A pupil of the Kherson Children and Youth Sports School for freestyle wrestling, Nazariy Chapurin, placed fourth at the Tallinn Open 2026 youth tournament.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The competition took place in the capital of Estonia at the UNIBET Arena and gathered 3300 participants from 42 countries around the world.
“By the organizers’ decision, all athletes who placed first through sixth received awards. So Nazariy also stepped onto the podium. We congratulate the wrestler and his coach A.P. Meshkova on the good result! We wish them further sporting successes!”, – wrote the OVA.
