Kherson athletes performed successfully at the Ukrainian Coastal Rowing Championship. The beach sprint competitions took place on Matviivska Bay in Kyiv.

Athletes from the Kherson Rowing Federation and the Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery took part in the new Olympic sport.
Svitlana Frolova took first place in the coastal women’s single sculls CW1x,
Alla Dmytryshyna took second place in the coastal women’s single sculls CW1x,
Oleksandr Baglay became the silver medalist in the coastal men’s single sculls CM1x.
The Masters of Sport of Ukraine were prepared for the competitions by coach Artem Moroz and honored coaches of Ukraine Oleh Voloshchuk and Andriy Olefirenko.
