Alina Zhulieva and Yehor Zhuliev, pupils of the Kherson Children’s and Youth Sports School for chess and checkers, took part in the children’s international chess tournament «Konstantin Konstantinov», which took place on December 14 in the city of Sliven (Bulgaria). As a result of the competition Alina won a prize place, and Yehor took fourth place in his age category.

The competitions were held in two tournaments (A and B) among young chess players under 15 years old.
Yehor Zhuliev competed in tournament A and took fourth place among boys under 13 years old.

Alina Zhulieva competed in tournament B, where she won third place among girls under 9 years old.
Recall, at the beginning of the month in the Portuguese city of Porto there was a tournament in memory of Daniel Naroditsky. In the competition participated a pupil of the Kherson Children’s and Youth Sports School for chess and checkers Pavlo Abalmaz. He scored 6.5 points, took second place and added 85 FIDE rating points.
