Kherson athletes performed successfully at the Ukrainian Athletics Cup competitions and in the final of the Ukrainian Cup in throwing events.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The event took place in Kropyvnytskyi.
Kherson region was represented by athletes from the Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery.
Nataliya Ovchinkina won gold among women, throwing the hammer 51.73 m.
Mykyta Bragynets, with a result of 59.70 m, took second place among men, but, like Nataliya, won the annual series of stages of the Ukrainian Cup in throws.
Tetyana Nasonova won silver among women, throwing the shot put 14.80 m,
Andrii Protsenko took third among men in the high jump with a result of 2.10 m.
