Members of Kherson Children’s and Youth Physical Training Club No. 5 took part in the Kyokushin karate competition “Silesia Cup 2026”, which took place in the city of Ostrava (Czech Republic).
This was reported by the Kherson MVA.
Based on the tournament results:
- 2nd place – Semen Chkhaidze;
- 3rd place – Platon Ivanchenko, Anna Yudina and Anastasia Nazarova.
In addition to taking part in the international competition, the members of the Kyokushin karate department participated in a training and certification camp that was held in Kyiv.
During the camp, the young athletes honed their technique, acquired new knowledge, and confirmed their level of preparation.
Recall, a 3rd-grade student of Music School No. 3 of the Kherson City Council, Polina Holovanets, won at the talent competition “Love My Talent–2026”, organized as part of the project “International Festival of Ukrainian Talents”. The event took place in Bucharest (Romania).
