A student of Kherson Lyceum No. 20, Veronika Kovalchuk, won first place at the international squash competition Austrian Junior Circuit 2026.
This was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration.
The competition took place with the participation of young athletes from various European countries.
According to the tournament results, Kovalchuk became the winner in the girls’ under-11 category. She also took fifth place in the under-13 age category, where 12 participants from Austria and Hungary competed.
Recall that Kherson State University student Diana Myroshnichenko took second place at the Ukrainian Championships in athletics among adults and youth.
