Polina Mykhailiets, a product of the Kherson Children and Youth Sports School for Chess and Checkers of the Kherson City Council, has entered the top ten strongest female chess players of Ukraine in the under-20 age category.
This was reported on the school’s Facebook page.
According to the rating list of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) as of February 1, 2026, Polina ranked tenth among the best Ukrainian female chess players in her age category.
Earlier it was reported that Maria Bielenka, a pupil of the “Ukraine” Children and Youth Sports School of the Kherson City Council, became the winner of the All-Ukrainian tennis tournament Ferrum Cup 14.
