Kherson City Military Administration adopted the Program for the prevention of and response to accidents and disasters at residential housing stock, social infrastructure and municipal enterprises for 2026.
The order was signed by the head of the Kherson CMA, Yaroslav Shanko.
The estimated volume of financial resources required to implement the Program is over UAH 14.07 million.
Its goal is to carry out emergency and urgent works to prevent man-made disasters that may arise as a result of military aggression and other emergencies. The Program includes emergency restoration works on damaged buildings and structures, as well as measures to ensure the livelihood of community residents.
Among the main risks targeted by the program are accidents in heating networks during the cold period, destruction of non-residential structures, and fires or explosions in residential buildings.
Financing will be provided from the budget of the Kherson City territorial community, including the reserve fund, as well as from other budgets, enterprises’ own funds, and charitable contributions.
