Kherson athlete Tetiana Nasonova won gold and silver medals at the European Masters Athletics Indoor Championships.

The competitions took place in the Polish city of Toruń. Representing the Ukrainian national team was a master of sport and a coach at the Kherson Professional Sports College.
Tetiana Nasonova, with a result of 15.18 meters, won gold in the weight throw, and also finished second in the shot put, registering 13.26 meters.
As a reminder, Nazariy Chapurin, a graduate of the Kherson children’s and youth sports school for freestyle wrestling, took fourth place at the youth tournament “Tallinn Open 2026”.
