The Kherson community received the first 160 kilometers of deep-water nets for protection against Russian drones.
This was reported on the Telegram of the head of the Kherson MVA, Yaroslav Shanko.
The nets made of ultra-strong material, according to the MVA, will be used to equip protective structures against Russian drones and fortifications in the combat zone.
The aid came from a French association founded by Kernic Solidarités together with the Fishermen’s Committee of the town of Roscoff.
“These are nets that are no longer used in industry, so Breton sailors systematically collect, inspect and send them to Ukraine”, – reads the message.
