Member of the French National Assembly Frédéric Petit visited the Kherson region.

Frédéric Petit was the first French parliamentarian to speak in the Government in support of Ukraine, and continues to help us – from reconstruction to informing the world about the consequences of the Russian invasion.
During the meeting with the regional leadership, they discussed the implementation of projects in the field of green energy and environmental restoration, which, due to the war, has faced significant pollution risks. They also talked about solar panels for social and critical infrastructure facilities, mobile environmental laboratories and joint research.
“French companies, in particular Neo-Eco, have experience in recycling and eco-construction that will be useful for our project to create a construction waste recycling station. It will allow converting debris into materials for roads, shelters and public buildings. We also discussed education projects that will enable even more children to return to schooling. He suggested joining in equipping shelters in schools and kindergartens”, – the statement says.
A separate topic was demining. They discussed providing explosives technicians with equipment that will help speed up the clearing of Kherson’s land of Russian explosives.
Recall that, at the request of Kherson’s former mayor Volodymyr Mykolayenko American businessman and philanthropist Dell Loy Hansen will join in helping the city.
