In the Kherson region, changes were made to the regional social protection program to provide financial support for civilian prisoners and their families.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
From now on, every resident of the Kherson region who was illegally deprived of freedom by the Russians will be able to receive a one-time cash assistance of 30,000 hryvnias from the regional budget. The same amount was allocated for the families of those who died in captivity.
In addition, the families of people who remain in captivity will receive 10,000 hryvnias in support each year.
For payment processing inquiries, you can contact the regional contact center by phone: 0800 101 102 and 0800 330 951.
