Kherson Oblast ranked third among Ukrainian regions by the average salary level in job vacancies.
According to RBC-Ukraine, citing the State Employment Service, employers in Kherson region offer on average 34 thousand hryvnias per month.
Higher average salaries were recorded only in Kyiv – 38 thousand hryvnias and Vinnytsia Oblast – 36 thousand hryvnias. The top five also included Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv oblasts, where the average salary offer amounts to 31 thousand hryvnias.
Overall, over the year the average salary in vacancies on the Unified Job Portal increased from 24 to 30 thousand hryvnias.
The highest salaries in Ukraine are offered to operations directors – 92 thousand hryvnias, international transport drivers – 66 thousand, realtors – 58 thousand, auto painters – 57 thousand and programmers – 52 thousand hryvnias.
At the same time, the least are willing to pay janitors, cleaners, kitchen workers, dishwashers, postmen and packers – at the level of the minimum wage, which in 2026 amounts to 8 647 hryvnias.
Earlier it became known that in May 2026 Kherson became one of the leaders in Ukraine in terms of the pace of vacancy growth.
