As of the beginning of 2026, Kherson region remains the region with the cheapest real estate in the country.
This is evidenced by recent analytical data from DIM.RIA.
Over the past year the cost of renting one-room apartments in the region fell by a quarter (-25%). Currently the average price for a «unit» in the region is about 3,000 hryvnias. This is the lowest figure among all regions of Ukraine.
For comparison, similar housing in the currently most expensive Zakarpattia region costs 18,450 hryvnias — six times more expensive.
The list of regions with the minimal rental cost also included Kharkiv region (5,000 hryvnias), Mykolaiv region (5,500 hryvnias) and Zaporizhzhia region (6,000 hryvnias).
Recall, as of June 1 of last year the average price per square meter on the secondary housing market in Kherson stood at 466 US dollars.
