A serviceman from Nova Kakhovka, Vitalii Melnyk, with the call sign “Tokyo”, was killed.
This was reported on social media.
Vitalii lived in Nova Kakhovka. At the start of the full-scale invasion he ended up under occupation. He went through the torture chambers of the Kadyrovites.
In September 2022 he managed to leave the occupation and settle in Irpin.
In November 2022 he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a UAV pilot.
On 16 December 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction, Vitalii Melnyk was killed.
