Kherson has been included in the list of cities that will soon receive specialized thermal equipment from international partners. This concerns industrial boilers with capacities from 550 to 3000 kW.
This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine — Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.
This assistance to Ukraine is provided by Italy. In total, about 80 units of such equipment are expected to be delivered at a cost of €1.85 million. Besides Kherson, the installations will be distributed among Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy and other frontline regions.
This equipment is part of a plan to deploy distributed generation aimed at reducing the vulnerability of critical infrastructure to Russian shelling. At the same time, the state is updating requests from regional military administrations (OVAs) for receiving generators for local water utilities and district heating companies, the post says.
