The “Kherson — Lviv” route is among the most in-demand routes used by Ukrainians leaving frontline regions for safer regions.
This was reported by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
Aside from Kherson, key evacuation points remain Zaporizhzhia, Pavlohrad and Shostka.
Overall, the ministry notes, during 2025 11 thousand people were evacuated by rail from frontline territories.
Recall that from December 2022 to August 2025, more than 41 thousand people were evacuated from the territory of the Kherson community.
