The community of Silkeborg, Denmark, has delivered aid worth 2.5 million Danish kroner to Kherson.
This was reported by the Kherson MVA.
A humanitarian shipment from Denmark from the community of Silkeborg arrived in Kherson. It is the result of a fundraising effort that accumulated nearly 2.5 million Danish kroner to support the city’s energy sector.
“Thanks to these funds, generators and charging stations were purchased that will help ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure facilities and support people during power outages”, – the post said.
The assistance was organized with the support of Silkeborg’s mayor Helle Gade. The received equipment is already being distributed among city services to prepare for possible blackouts in the frontline zone, the MVA wrote.
Earlier we wrote that UNICEF donated 12 generators to Kherson for uninterrupted water supply.
