The President of Ukraine awarded the chief specialist of the Kherson City Council administration, Hanna Azehova, the Order “For Merit” 3rd class posthumously.
The relevant decree was published on the head of state’s website.
The award was presented for a significant contribution to state-building, the development of local self-government, devoted performance of official duties under martial law, and loyalty to the Ukrainian people.
Anna Azehova was killed on January 27, 2023, by enemy shelling. A shell hit the car in which two people were traveling. Anna was killed on the spot.
“She pursued her professional career in the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council and was a member of the commission on the protection of children’s rights,” said the head of the Korabelnyi District Council in Kherson, Natalya Chornyenka.
