Nadiya Stepanyuk, the head of the occupation Tomaryne village council in Kherson region, has been notified of suspicion of collaborationism.
This is stated in the materials of the pre-trial investigation.
The investigation found that no later than July 2022, Stepanyuk, while in the village of Tomaryne in Beryslav district, voluntarily assumed the position of the so-called head of the Tomaryne village council within the structure of the occupying military-civilian administration of Beryslav district in Kherson region.
After her appointment, she carried out organizational, executive and administrative-economic functions related to the activities of an illegal authority in the temporarily occupied territory.
The woman’s actions have been classified under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — collaborationist activity.
Note that Stepanyuk ran for the Beryslav City Council in 2020.
She worked as an inspector of the VUS of the Shlyakhivska village council.
