Residents of Kherson Oblast who are moving to safer regions of Ukraine may receive reimbursement for travel expenses. The support program is implemented by the public organization “Tenth of April”.
This was reported on the page of the Novokakhovka MVA.
The program provides one-time cash assistance to cover the cost of ticket purchases.
The maximum reimbursement amount is up to 4,000 hryvnias per person. The program applies exclusively to trips by train or bus transport, while expenses for taxis, air tickets, or fuel for private cars are not covered.
The assistance is aimed at the most vulnerable categories of the population, in particular the elderly and persons with disabilities, families with children (large families, low-income, etc.), pregnant women and mothers in need of support, people who require specialized medical care due to the consequences of the war, or individuals who have found themselves in difficult financial circumstances.
To find out the full list of required documents and the payment procedure, you should contact the case manager of the NGO “Tenth of April” (Violetta Mykhailova, +38 (095) 081 25 09).
