A former vice-rector of the Kherson State Maritime Academy was notified in absentia of suspicion of implementing Russian educational standards during the occupation of Kherson.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

In July 2022 the woman headed a commission of the academy’s employees. The commission approved the charter of the illegal institution and allowed its head to register the document under Russian legislation.
