The Desniansky District Court of Chernihiv handed down a verdict against a former employee of Kherson Correctional Colony No. 90, Oleksandr Reznichenko, who took a job with the occupiers.
This is stated in the court verdict.
Since 2018, Reznichenko served as the deputy of the duty assistant to the head of the facility’s section of the pre-trial detention center at the State Institution “Northern Correctional Colony (№90)” in Kherson and held the special rank “senior warrant officer of the internal service”.
According to the investigation, in May 2025 he went to work at the already occupied colony and obtained the position of the so-called junior inspector of the 1st category of the supervision group of the security department.
After examining the evidence, the court found Reznichenko guilty under part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborationist activity). He was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
He was also stripped of the special rank “senior warrant officer of the internal service”.
