The Kherson City Court found a resident of Skadovsk, Oleh Pokryshev, guilty of collaborationist activity; during the occupation he voluntarily assumed the position of head of one of the fire units of the occupying Ministry of Emergency Situations.
This was stated in the relevant verdict.
The court found that in the summer of 2022 Pokryshev agreed to work for the occupying structure. One of the witnesses said he saw the man during recruitment of employees for the occupying enterprise in Skadovsk.
According to him, Pokryshev himself announced his intention to work for a Russian structure, and later appeared in propaganda materials wearing the uniform of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The court sentenced Oleh Pokryshev to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and a ban on holding positions in government bodies, law enforcement agencies and engaging in activities related to the provision of public services, for a period of 15 years.
Earlier a member of one of the occupying precinct election commissions in the Kherson region was convicted of collaboration.
