The police have launched an investigation into the possible embezzlement of budget funds by the former head of the Kherson Health Department, Viktoriya Khmilevska.
This was reported to MOST by its own sources in law enforcement agencies.
Information about the criminal offense was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations today – March 10.
According to the investigation, the official signed orders appointing additional allowances and bonuses for certain heads of municipal institutions. These payments were not provided for by law or official contracts.
The case is being investigated under the article on misappropriation or embezzlement of property by abuse of official position – Article 191, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Note that in April 2024 Khmilevska was appointed to the position of head of the Health Department of the Kherson City Council, but already in October last year she dismissed from the post.
Before that she was the director of the Kherson City Dental Polyclinic, where she tried to monopolize the work of all the city’s dental institutions.
