The Velyka Oleksandrivka District Court found Marina Humenyuk, a resident of Velyka Oleksandrivka who headed the local occupation administration, guilty of collaborationist activity.
The verdict was published on the website of the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
As the investigation found, in August 2022 Humenyuk voluntarily headed the occupation administration of the Velyka Oleksandrivka community and became the so‑called head of the settlement of Velyka Oleksandrivka.
After that she helped organize the work of the local “administration”, took part in forming a system of power that was subordinate to the occupying forces of the Russian Federation.
One of the witnesses said that during the occupation he worked for Humenyuk for some time as a driver and drove her to meetings in Beryslav. Also, according to him, she distributed so‑called material assistance and pensions from the occupation authorities in hryvnias. For this she collected residents’ passport data, and the money, according to the witness, was handed out right in her home.
On the eve of the de-occupation of the right bank of Kherson region, Marina Humenyuk left for the left bank of the region.
The court found her guilty in absentia under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced her to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all her property.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of the Kherson region who took a job at a colony seized by the Russians, was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
