Former Kherson City Council deputy Anton Khmaro declared UAH 5.8 million in income from entrepreneurial activity last year.
This was revealed in his declaration.
He was also paid UAH 481,192 for military service, to which he has been mobilized since 2023.
In cash, Anton Khmaro keeps US$10,000. At the same time, his wife Natalia Petrenko declared significantly larger amounts.
According to the document, she owns cash in various currencies: 330,000 dollars, 40,000 euros and 800,000 hryvnias.
The family’s declaration also lists two Toyota vehicles.
Thus, in March 2024 Khmaro became the owner of a 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150. He declared an amount just over UAH 1.1 million, whereas the real market value of such an SUV even now starts from UAH 1.7 million and can reach UAH 2.2 million.
His wife, Natalia Petrenko, has owned a 2020 Toyota RAV-4 Hybrid crossover since July 2020. This vehicle was purchased for UAH 1,138,432, which corresponded to the price of a new car at the dealership.
Anton Khmaro also owns an apartment in Nikopol. Apartments in Odesa and Kherson, as well as parts of office premises and a shop in Kherson, belong to his wife.
Anton Khmaro was elected a deputy of the Kherson City Council from the political party «Opposition Platform — For Life» (OPZZh), now banned, from the party list in 2020. Before that he was a city council deputy from “Opposition Bloc” and spent the entire term dealing with “land” issues.
In February 2022, shortly before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Department of Urban Economy of the Kherson City Council concluded with him, as a private entrepreneur, a contract for legal services. This contract was signed by Olena Mazur as “acting director”. She, like Khmaro, is a deputy of the Kherson city council from OPZZh.
After the start of the full-scale Russian aggression, Anton Khmaro disappeared from the public sphere.
In 2023 it became known that the deputy was mobilized and is serving in the military.
In the summer of 2024 he resigned his deputy mandate.
In January this year, the NGO, whose founder is Anton Khmaro’s wife, signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Avanhard settlement council of Odesa region.
