The total amount of damage to objects of the natural reserve fund of Kherson region caused to the environment as a result of the full-scale war has already exceeded UAH 1.0016 trillion.
This was reported by the State Environmental Inspection of the Southern District.
According to the inspection, specialists continue to survey territories that were affected by hostilities and armed aggression.
Special attention is being paid to the protected areas of Kherson, where large-scale ecosystem disruptions have been recorded. This concerns the destruction of vegetation cover and the mass death of animals.
It is noted that the collected materials and the calculations performed have been handed over to law enforcement agencies and have also been sent to the Operational Headquarters of the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine.
