Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two residents of the region who went into service at the railway seized by the occupiers have been notified in absentia of suspicion.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, in July 2022 both suspects were employed as riflemen in the paramilitary security detachment of the occupying Kherson Railway.
In their sham positions, the men followed the orders of the illegal leadership, guarded facilities of the captured railway that were important to the occupiers, and worked according to Russian protocols.
Both were notified of suspicion of voluntarily taking a position in an illegal law enforcement body under Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier we wrote that law enforcement officers notified Yuriy Horobets, a resident of the Kherson region, of suspicion for cooperating with the illegal administration and participating in war crimes during the temporary occupation of the region.
