A former law enforcement officer from the Kherson region received a sentence for collaborating with the occupying authorities.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Melitopol.
The investigation established that after the occupation of the region began, he assumed the position of head of the regime and oversight department in the occupying administration of the penitentiary service in Kherson.
In that position he coordinated the work of subordinate institutions, organized inspections, and effectively enabled the operations of the illegal authority.
The court found him guilty of state treason and collaborationist activity.
