The wife of the former head of the Kherson MCA, Roman Mrochko, Inna handed over a basement in the center of Odesa to the local authorities, which she had been occupying in violation of the law.
This is stated in a ruling of the Commercial Court of the Odesa region.
Earlier MOST wrote that the Department of Municipal Property of the Odesa City Council filed a lawsuit asking the court to terminate the lease agreement for a basement in central Odesa and evict the wife of the former head of Kherson.
The reason for the lawsuit was a material breach by the defendant of the lease agreement in terms of failing to fulfill obligations regarding the use of the leased property in accordance with its intended purpose.
It concerns the basement in the building at 45 Bazarna Street, in the very center of Odesa.
It was rented by Inna Medina on April 8, 2019. This was the surname Inna Mrochko used until 2023.
On January 16, 2026, the court received from the plaintiff a motion to close the proceedings in the case.
At the court hearing on January 29, 2026, the court issued a ruling to close the proceedings in the case.
The proceedings were closed because the defendant voluntarily complied with the claims stated in the lawsuit to terminate the lease agreement and returned the leased premises to the lessor under an acceptance-transfer act.
