Villages of the Stanislav community in the Kherson region are under constant shelling, recently drone attacks have intensified significantly, and they now threaten local residents almost around the clock.
This was reported to Bilozerska.info by the head of the Stanislav SVA, Oleksandr Babutskyi.
As a result, the community’s population is decreasing: about 300 people remain in Stanislav, about 65 in Sofiyivka – about 65. The village of Oleksandrivka has been without power for more than a year, and residents are relying on generators.
According to Babutskyi, the community is also attacked by “Shaheds”, but more often Russian FPV drones and “Molniyas” fly in, sometimes using fiber optic.
“Many UAVs are neutralized by the military with electronic warfare systems, shot down, but the number of drones is increasing unbelievably”, – the head of the community said.
It is noted that despite the danger, some drones are neutralized by the military, and humanitarian aid and evacuations are provided by partners and volunteers.
Earlier it was reported that two centers for destroying Russian drones operate in the Kherson region.
