About 500 more gas heaters have arrived in Kherson along with cylinders of liquefied gas.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, the kits are intended for city residents who were left without heating after Russian strikes on one of the heat generation facilities.
Part of the heaters, given the security situation, were transferred to the Korabel microdistrict. Aid will go to people who actually reside in one of Kherson’s most dangerous districts.
As Prokudin noted, due to constant shelling the microdistrict currently remains without gas supply, electricity, and centralized heating.
Note that, according to the latest data from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Korabel microdistrict currently is home to over 200 people.
Also recall that on December 4, as a result of systematic Russian shelling, the Kherson thermal power plant ceased operations. It is impossible to forecast restoration timeframes because of the danger to repair crews.
According to the latest data from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, in the city 10,000 subscribers remain without heating. Some have already started receiving heaters.
