Doctors continue to fight to save the life of a three-year-old girl who was wounded as a result of Russian shelling of a playground in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, the child remains in extremely critical condition. After the injury, Kherson medics evacuated the girl to Mykolaiv, where she was operated on and shrapnel was removed from her head.
Currently, the emergency team of the Mykolaiv Regional Children’s Hospital is transporting the girl, in serious but stable condition, to the “Okhmatdyt” hospital.
Specialists on site will determine further treatment tactics, the post says.
It is noted that the child’s mother also remains in serious condition — medics continue to fight for her life.
The older six-year-old sister is undergoing outpatient treatment.
Recall, on the evening of May 27, Russian forces shelled with “Grads” a playground in the Shumenkyi microdistrict of Kherson, where parents with children were spending time. The father of the family was killed on the spot.
