The director of the occupying environmental operator of Kherson region was fined for manipulations in billing for garbage removal.
This was reported by pro-Russian sources.
It was established that the company in the former Kalanchak district charged fees for the removal of solid municipal waste while ignoring the actual number of residents. They calculated for at least three people per household to obtain additional profit.
By decision of the court controlled by the occupiers, the director was fined 50 thousand rubles.
The issue of recalculating the funds overpaid by the district’s residents is currently under review, the post says.
Note that, starting in 2026, in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region tariffs for garbage removal were increased.
