In Kherson, ten young city residents received named scholarships for academic, sporting, and community achievements.
This was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration.
Another six young Kherson residents, who also applied for the scholarships but scored fewer points, were honored with letters of appreciation from the Kherson City Military Administration and the city’s Department of Youth and Sports. They were also presented with commemorative gifts.
The Kherson City Military Administration says it plans to increase the number of named scholarships as early as next year to support more gifted children and youth.
Recall that individuals were invited aged 14 to 35 who are registered or have an IDP certificate in the territory of the Kherson community. And the amount of the scholarships is 5000 hryvnias each for the 10 winners.
