Kherson Regional Council deputy Volodymyr Khvostov (Servant of the People) has decided to give up his mandate.
This is stated in the draft decision that deputies will consider at the next meeting.
Regional council deputy Volodymyr Khvostov wrote a statement on April 15, 2025, about the early termination of his deputy powers.
He will lose the mandate if his colleagues vote in favor.
There have been cases in the regional council where deputies did not support such a statement.
Recall that the police must bring Kherson Regional Council deputy Volodymyr Khvostov to the Kherson City Court on December 17.
The deputy did not appear at the court hearings on November 5 and December 2, 2025, although he knew the date and place of the hearing, where his corruption protocol was to be considered.
We wrote about the case in detail in the article, and covered it in a separate video.
