Danish volunteer Karl Futtrup delivered the ninth truckload of fishing nets to Kherson, which will be used to protect critically important facilities from Russian UAVs.
This is reported by Suspilne.
The nets traveled over three thousand kilometers in two days and passed a test for effectiveness in countering drones, the article says.
Logistical support was provided by the charity Fellas for Europe e.V., and volunteers from various countries helped with the delivery.
Recall that, installing anti-drone nets in Kherson and on the “Kherson — Mykolaiv” highway began in July 2025 to protect transport from Russian drones.
A total of 394 kilometers of roads in the Kherson region need to be protected, of which 64 kilometers – already have been equipped.
