Russian military and associated experts are discussing additional measures to protect logistical routes in the occupied territories due to regular attacks by Ukrainian drones.
One of the Russian drone developers told a pro-Russian publication this.
According to him, the authorities in the occupied territories should begin installing anti-drone nets along the R-280 “Novorossiya” route, which connects Mariupol and Henichesk and is a key transport artery of the land corridor to temporarily occupied Crimea.
Calls for strengthening the protection of logistical routes came against the background of regular reports about attacks by Ukrainian drones on vehicles traveling through the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
In addition, occupation governor Volodymyr Saldo said that on the left bank of Kherson region they will create “volunteer battalion” BARS “Kherson”, which is to counter Ukrainian drones.
Earlier we wrote that in the Sokolohirne area of Kherson region GUR drones destroyed Russian equipment.
Prior to that it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a fuel tanker on the land corridor to Crimea and trucks at the exit from the occupied peninsula in the Chonhar area.
In connection with this Saldo signed a decree on the temporary restriction of freight traffic along the R-280 “Novorossiya” route.
