In Khorly on the left bank of the Kherson region, a citizen of Serbia was wounded as a result of a strike on New Year’s night.
This was stated by the occupying governor of Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Saldo.
According to Saldo, most of the people who were in the café in Khorly during the attack were allegedly local residents. At the same time he admitted that among the visitors there could also have been non-locals, whose identities are currently “being established”.
Recall, on the night from December 31 to January 1, 2026, in Khorly the restaurant “Ukrainian Khata”, also came under attack the hotel “Leo”, located nearby. The strike allegedly killed 24 people.
On the morning of January 2 the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine rejected these accusations. Later, Ukrinform sources reported that the strike was directed at legitimate military targets.
