Ukrzaliznytsia temporarily changes the schedule of suburban trains due to intensified Russian shelling of railway infrastructure in southern Ukraine.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Thus, on March 6, 2026, the operation of the train on the Mykolaiv-Vantazhny — Apostolove route was suspended.
Also, from March 12 the movement on the Mykolaiv-Vantazhny — Bila Krynytsia route is temporarily suspended.
It is noted that a new protocol will apply on other sections for operational response to air threats. If targets are detected, trains will stop at the nearest station, and railway workers will organize the evacuation of passengers to safe locations.
Service will resume only after receipt of the all-clear signal for the air raid alert and confirmation of the security situation, the post says.
