Kherson region received four new resuscitation ambulances to strengthen emergency medical teams. Type C special vehicles were provided by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and partners from Project HOPE.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The aid included two Citroen Jumper vehicles and two all-wheel-drive Volkswagen Crafters. The vehicles are equipped with modern equipment for stabilizing seriously wounded patients during transport: ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps and patient monitors.
Recall that since the start of the full-scale invasion, 58 ambulances in the region have been damaged, four of which were lost already during 2026. The occupiers deliberately target medical personnel, using drones and artillery.
In addition to the vehicles themselves, the partner support includes grant assistance for full technical maintenance of the vehicles and provision of fuel for the crews.
