The Russian army does not stop shelling the Kherson TPP almost daily despite the power plant having been out of operation for several months.
This was reported on air by the deputy head of the Kherson OVA Oleksandr Tolokonnikov.
“Yesterday an attack on the Kherson TPP was recorded. There almost every day either “Molniya”, or FPV, or it is hit by artillery”, – he said.
Recall that on December 4 of last year, as a result of systematic Russian shelling, the Kherson TPP ceased operations.
According to the chairman of the board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Serhii Koretskyi, by systematically shelling the TPP’s territory the Russian forces want to deprive the possibility to restore the equipment of the plant.
It is currently impossible to forecast the timeframe for restoration due to the danger to repair crews.
