American actress and director Angelina Jolie did not notify Ukraine about her visit.
Politico reports this, citing its own sources.
According to the publication, Jolie secretly crossed the border into Ukraine on foot.
In addition, one of the Ukrainian officials confirmed an incident involving the TCK at one of the checkpoints, when staff of the military commissariat detained her bodyguard.
However, the Ground Forces told Politico in a comment that they cannot confirm or deny the report about this.
“The information circulating in the media is distorted, an investigation is currently underway and all circumstances are being clarified,” they said.
A number of media outlets reported that American actress and director Angelina Jolie arrived in Kherson, where she likely visited medical facilities.
Later, information from an unknown source began circulating online that at a checkpoint in the Mykolaiv region the actress’s bodyguard was detained by TCK personnel. This was also confirmed by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
