“Evil American capitalists” remain for Russians the main “ideological enemy”… Well, of course, after “Ukrainian nationalists”. And if there is an opportunity in one publication to lie about both the former and the latter – Kremlin propaganda will never miss it. So, recently pro-Russian Telegram dumps spread the news that Americans will try to “pump out” from the subsoil of the right-bank Kherson region “all rare-earth metals”. Only those very metals are not and never have been present in those same deposits.
This is reported by the Telegram channel “Free Kherson”.
“They handed everything over to the USA: the Ukrainian authorities are preparing the final surrender of the Kherson region’s subsoil under full US control. According to Ukrainian media, an investment fund is being created through which American companies will receive exclusive access to the region’s natural resources — rare-earth metals, agriculture and other riches of the region”, – the Russians note.
Ironically, but as proof of their words the occupiers present a map of Ukraine’s mineral resources, which clearly indicates that there are no rare-earth metals on the territory of Kherson region.
It is additionally reported that on the left bank of the Dnipro, on the contrary, “everything is being done for the people” and nobody even thinks of using the resources of the occupied territories for enrichment.
“The contrast with the left bank of the Dnipro under Russia’s protection is obvious: there they are restoring power supply, roads, social facilities, salaries and assistance are being paid. And under the Kyiv regime — only the surrender of the country and resources into foreign hands”, – the admins of the mentioned Telegram channel report.
But this is a lie, because the occupiers actively use Kherson region’s main resource – fertile lands. The grain grown here is then exported to third countries, and the proceeds from sales end up in the Russian budget, from which the war against Ukraine is financed.
For example, it is reported that this year the Russians plan to remove 85% of the harvest grown on the left bank of Kherson region. But it is the Americans who are exploiting Ukrainian subsoil and natural resources, right?
