In the Kherson Regional Military Administration “categorically do not recommend” cultivating the land in the thirty-kilometer zone from the Dnipro, because it is deadly dangerous.
This was said in an interview with Ukrinform by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
“In the region, due to detonations of explosive devices and attacks by Russian UAVs, 17 agricultural workers have died, and another 43 were wounded. Such is the price of the harvest grown on Kherson soil. But we cannot prohibit people from doing their jobs. I have spoken with many farmers, tried to convey my opinion, but I can persuade some, and not others”, – he said.
Currently, on the right bank of Kherson region, almost 90 percent of the total area of agricultural land has been surveyed.
Recall, on March 5 the government approved the mechanism for determining zones of risky farming to support farmers.
