The High Council of Justice has submitted to the President a proposal to appoint a Kherson-region lawyer, Volodymyr Bondar, as a judge of the Sumy Court of Appeal.
This is reported on the High Council of Justice’s website.
It is noted that Bondar’s candidacy underwent the full qualification assessment procedure at the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. Based on the assessment results, he was determined to be the winner of the competition to fill vacant positions at the Sumy Court of Appeal.
The High Council of Justice did not identify circumstances that could raise doubts about Bondar’s integrity, professional ethics, or suitability as a judge. It also found no violations of the procedure regarding his participation in the competition or appointment, the statement says.
The final appointment of the judge is to be made by the President of Ukraine by signing the corresponding decree.
Earlier we wrote that the High Council of Justice approved the appointment of Natalia Pavlenko as a judge of the South-Western Appellate Commercial Court.
