In 2026, 3820 pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers of the Kherson region will undergo professional development at the Municipal Higher Educational Institution “Kherson Academy of Continuing Education”.
This was announced in an order of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA).
The largest number of teachers (1794 people) will undergo 30-hour training in the area of subject teachers of educational institutions. Also, 30-hour courses will be attended by 677 caregivers of boarding institutions, extended-day groups and dormitories, special education teachers, pedagogical staff of classes with inclusive and integrated education, practical psychologists, social educators and teacher assistants.
Among other categories that will undergo 30-hour training: primary school teachers — 395 people, heads and deputy heads of educational institutions — 248 people, pedagogical staff of vocational pre-higher education institutions — 104 people, educational organizers — 46 people, specialists of inclusive resource centers — 42 people, librarians of educational institutions — 32 people. In total, 30-hour training will be attended by 3338 people.
Pedagogical workers of all categories will also have the opportunity to take 15-hour training — there will be 350 such people.
Separately, 132 people will undergo 120-hour training: staff of preschool education institutions — 110 people and staff of out-of-school education institutions — 22 people.
Recall that in 2026 the Kherson Regional Military Administration planned 270 832 942 hryvnias to finance the education sector. Funds will be directed to the Department of Education and Science of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
