The Security Service of Ukraine has officially announced suspicion of treason and collaboration against Kizomys resident Anna Pavlenko, who during the occupation of Kherson headed the seized Higher Vocational School No. 2.
This is stated in the text of the suspicion, which is published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to law enforcement, before the full-scale invasion Pavlenko worked as the head of a kindergarten in the Bilozerka community, and in the summer of 2022 she voluntarily began cooperating with the occupiers and obtained the position of director of Vocational School No. 2 in Kherson.
Pavlenko did not simply run the institution, but actively eradicated everything Ukrainian from it. At her instruction, state flags and symbols were removed from the school’s premises. In their place, Russian textbooks were placed in the classrooms and flags were hung.
In addition, she, a woman, pressured teachers and technical staff, demanding that they switch to the Russian language and recognize the occupying authorities, and threatened those who disagreed with dismissal.
Pavlenko also organized trips of students to occupied Crimea under the guise of recreation.
She was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborationist activity) and Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance to a state-aggressor).
Recall that Anna Pavlenko already has a suspicion of forced relocation of children.
